This game between Ivanchuk and Leko was played in the 1st round of the Legends of chess tournament. In this game we will see how Ivanchuk conducts a strong attack on Leko in the Kings Gambit opening which is played rarely in the top level chess.
The open h-file and lead in development compensates well for the pawn. By playing the knight on g4, black tries to gain momentum. Can you guess White’s continuation?
